Vaden Health Center (“Vaden”), a principal unit of the Division of Student Affairs at Stanford University, is seeking a primary care physician for our Medical Services department for a full-time position.

Vaden is a AAAHC accredited freestanding, multidisciplinary ambulatory health care facility serving nearly 17,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students of Stanford University. The medical care team includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nursing and clinical support staff.  The health center also offers services in travel health, eating disorders, sports medicine, dermatology, optometry, physical therapy, counseling and psychological care, and health promotion. 

Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package.  Salary is commensurate with experience.  The successful candidate will be appointed through Stanford University’s School of Medicine into the Clinician Educator track.

Requirements

Eligible candidates must be board certified in family medicine or internal medicine and must possess, or be fully eligible for, California licensure in the respective discipline. Primary responsibilities include providing direct medical care to patients, supervising NPs, PAs, and residents.  In addition, there is some on-call phone backup coverage for our after-hour nurse advice team. Strong skills in LGBTQIA health preferred. Experience in college health services or with a diverse young adult population is ideal.
