$25,000 sign on bonus plus up to $72,000 in additional bonuses during the first three years

Kaiser Permanente - Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) is seeking a diligent, flexible, eager, well-trained Orthopedic Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our incredible Orthopedic Surgery Department in Baldwin Park, CA.

Position Highlights

•        Seeking a fellowship-trained Hand & Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary orthopedic team.
•        Opportunity to build a comprehensive hand and upper extremity practice while maintaining involvement in general orthopedic care and trauma.
•        Clinic conveniently located on the main hospital campus with access to advanced imaging, support services, and specialty care.
•        Surgical practice supported by a state-of-the-art main operating room and two nearby ambulatory surgery centers.
•        Join an Established Orthopedic Team:
  • 19 orthopedic surgeons, including specialists in:
    • Hand Surgery (3)
    • Total Joint Replacement (6)
    • Sports Medicine/Shoulder Surgery (5)
    • Orthopedic Trauma (2)
    • Orthopedic Oncology (3)
  • 4 Primary Care Sports & Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physicians
  • 21 Orthopedic Physician Assistants
  • 2 Nurse Practitioners

Candidate Qualifications

•        Completion of an accredited Hand & Upper Extremity Fellowship
•        Broad orthopedic expertise with the ability to manage both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic conditions
•        Comfortable caring for general orthopedic and trauma patients

Salary range for full-time/part-time openings is $536,575.00 to $729,087.00. Potential premium earnings are up to $80,136.00. Salaries are inclusive of incentives depending on skills and competencies and geographic location. Potential premium earnings are based on location. Annual Salary is determined by longevity with the Group and full time equivalent (FTE) work schedule/effort.
